Oil Based Clay Pomade. A unique thing to note: it does not contain any petroleum. Instead, it’s mainly made from beeswax, organic bentonite clay, coconut oil and essential oils.
Similar to its brother, the OG Pomade, it’s simple and minimalistic. From the packaging, you can see the attention to detail. It comes with a light cotton pouch to protect it from direct heat and scratches.
It comes in 2 sizes – 2oz (57g) and 4oz (114g). This provides flexibility to users who travel often. Pomade is stored in a very light weight amber glass jar.

Clay Pomade’s Texture & Application
The Jack Henry’s Clay Pomade has a smooth texture/ easily broken down when rub on the palm. It does have a slight dryness to the touch, but does not dry up your hair. It’s very smooth and easy to apply. For medium short length hair, it requires around 1- 2 times of 5 cents size of scoop for full application. When applied on hair, you will feel it’s very light weight and natural, as if you did not apply anything. In addition, it provides more volume and texture to your styling.
Use your finger to scoop a small amount. Heat is key — rub between fingers to heat and smooth out the product until it disappears. Then, apply to damp hair and work through the roots for full coverage. Repeat if needed for maximum hold.
Strength & Endurance
Medium Strong Hold and able to last through the day.
Provides very good texture and volume.
Restyling is easy with a comb or fingers.
Suitable for indoors and outdoors, as it’s sweat-resistant!
Requires 1-2 times of normal shampoo and conditioner wash.
On the bright side, since it might stays longer on your hair after your first wash, on the next day, it doesn’t require much pomade for styling, plus it gives your natural texture and volume!

Paraben Free & Organic
This triple filtered beeswax is used for styling, hold and volume. It’s the base for all of their hair products. Surprisingly, it washes out super easy and leaves your hair feeling thick but still natural and light. All while giving you the control you desire and added protection from the elements.
Organic Bentonite Clay
Aka volcanic ash. Used for added texture and hold
Organic Coconut Oil
Used to soften up the beeswax and to make your hair feeling full and healthy. The organic coconut oil also moisturizes your scalp, promotes hair growth and thickness and also helps fight dandruff. It even helps protect your hair from harsh UV rays. Powerful stuff.
Organic Lavender Oil
Light and refreshing. Lavender is our go-to for a non overbearing scent.
The Jack Henry Clay Pomade is one of the best oil-based pomade if you are looking for good texture and a lightweight product. It’s very easy to apply and manageable for any restyling, plus it has a good hold that lasts through the day, especially in humid Singapore. Definitely worth trying!
