Introduction to ORIEN’T Texture Paste

After a two weeks break, we are now all recharged for a new line of products. Today, we excited to introduce a texture paste hair product by Orien’t. This is our second review for Orien’t, in which the first was on the clay pomade. Our experience with the clay pomade was pretty impressive with its performance despite the long hour of testing. On top of that, this product is also an ECOCERT certified with organic ingredients.

So how does the Orien’t texture paste different from your normal pomade or hair clay? Let’s dive into our review right away!

Design and Packaging

This design reminds me on the typical salon way of product packaging. It has a glossy effect with a oriental logo design on its cover. The quality of the jar used is solid hard, with blue labelings of the brand. It is 100ml so it is definitely safe to be brought a long in your carry on luggage! Together inside the box, you will also so find an instruction manual which has a mix of english and mandarin explanation. It covers on how to apply and the styles that are suitable using this product. Overall, the design is very consistent and similar to the Orien’t Clay Pomade.

Scent

Mostly floral with some hint of herbal and spicy scent. The scent was not overpowering so it was quite pleasant throughout the day

Texture & Application

For this test, I had my hair towel dried before applying on it. On a side note, blow dry hair is also possible for application.

I would say the experience of scooping out the paste was surprisingly easy because of its smooth and soft texture. It is yellowish white in colour. As you can see the image below, it can be easily rubbed on the palm and applying on the hair was very easy. Styling was straight forward even with fingers. Altogether, I have used 3 pin size of the texture paste to have my hair all covered. The Orien’t texture paste is naturally a moisturizing product as it does give a little wet look as well. Honestly, I did not really restyle my hair throughout the day despite perspiring due to the heat. And guess what, its awesomeness stays!
